When you contact a model for a photography, runway, or any modeling job you should be professional. Be prepared to answer questions such as pay, what will be expected, how will expenses such as travel and transportation be paid, and of course what is expected of the model. If you have examples of the assignment you have in mind it is always good to be able to share those with the model.

As part of the signup process we encourage our models to ask questions and to confirm that they are being approached by a professional. Modeling for portfolio pictures is often done, it is called TFP. If that is what you are wanting be sure to communicate that with the model.
